The thawing at the bottom of the lake, previously covered in ice, has progressed, completely transforming the landscape from half a month ago.
Today, the temperature has suddenly risen, marking the first summer-like day of the year in the mountains of Hokkaido. The streams fed by the melting snow have increased in water volume, and the sound of flowing water echoes through the earth-colored landscape.
We are now rapidly moving into the season when fresh greenery will begin to sprout.
氷に覆われていた湖底の雪解けが進み、半月前とはすっかり景色が変わりました。
今日は気温が一気に上がり、北海道の山中でも今年初の夏日です。
雪解け水の流れる沢は水量が増え、土色の景色の中に水音が響いていました。
これから一気に新緑が芽吹く季節へと進んでいきます。

ながらく、タウシュベツ川橋梁に似合うようなおみやげが欲しいと考えていました。
このたび制作したのはタウシュベツマグカップ。周囲の森で暮らす動物たちをアレンジしたデザインです。
