この年は春先からの降水量が少なく、糠平湖の水位上昇が遅かったこともあり、湖底に干ばつのようなひび割れが広がりました。
Exactly ten years ago today at the Taushubetsu Bridge, the spring season had brought little rainfall, causing a delayed rise in the water level of Nukabira Lake. This led to drought-like cracks spreading across the lakebed.
